민중민주당(환수복지당)은 8일(현지시간) 미백악관앞에서 대변인실보도·백악관앞논평 <6.12북미공동성명 위반하는 북침전쟁연습재개 즉각 중단하라>를 발표했다.
민중민주당은 <이번 전쟁연습의 본질은 6.12북미공동성명이후 중단된 비질런트에이스북침핵전쟁연습이다>며 < 코리아반도에서 또다시 전쟁위기가 급고조된다는 것을 의미한다>고 강조했다.
그러면서 <<선비핵화>를 강박하고 하노이정상회담이든 스톡홀름실무회담이든 모두 무산시킨 측은 명백히 미국>이라며 <트럼프정부는 더 늦기전에 정책을 전환해 북과 평화체제를 수립하고 남에서 미군을 철거시켜야 한다>고 경고했다.

6.12북미공동성명 위반하는 북침전쟁연습재개 즉각 중단하라
1. 미국방부가 북침전쟁연습을 재개하겠다고 발표했다. 이번 전쟁연습의 본질은 6.12북미공동성명이후 중단된 비질런트에이스북침핵전쟁연습이다. 명칭을 달리하고 규모를 축소해도 본질이 달라지는 것은 아니다. 논란이 일자 미국방부대변인 이스트번은 <우리는 늘 여러가지 훈련을 진행해왔다>며 오히려 상시적인 전쟁연습을 인정하는 적반하장식 태도를 보였다.
2. 권정근 북외무성순회대사는 최근담화에서 미국의 북침전쟁연습재개를 <대결선언>으로 규정했다. 권대사는 <꺼져가는 조미대화의 불씨에 찬물을 끼얹는 위험천만한 행위>·<인내심이 한계점을 가까이하고 있다>는 경고로 올초부터 경고한 <새로운길>로의 전환을 시사했다. 이는 코리아반도에서 또다시 전쟁위기가 급고조된다는 것을 의미한다.
3. 북의 각종 선제적이고 성의있는 조치에 적극 호응할 대신 <선비핵화>를 강박하고 하노이정상회담이든 스톡홀름실무회담이든 모두 무산시킨 측은 명백히 미국이다. 트럼프정부는 우리민중의 반트럼프반미투쟁의 의지가 계속 강해지고있음을 유의해야 한다. 트럼프정부는 더 늦기전에 정책을 전환해 북과 평화체제를 수립하고 남에서 미군을 철거시켜야 한다. 시간은 결코 트럼프편이 아니다.

The US must stop resuming aerial exercises against North Corea which violate North Corea-US joint statement on June 12th!
1. The US Defense Department announced that it is going to resume joint US military exercises against North Corea. The substance of these war exercises is the “Vigilant Ace”, the nuclear war exercises against the North Corea, which had been suspended after the June 12th North Corea-US joint statement. The nature is not changed by changing the name and reducing the scale. The resulting controversy led Pentagon Spokesperson Dave Eastburn say that they have always, and will continue to conduct exercises. How brazen-faced he is about constant war exercises!
2. In recent statement, Kwon Jong Gun, roving ambassador of the Foreign Ministry of North Corea, defined resuming war exercises as “a declaration of confrontation with the DPRK.” He warned by saying “it is an extremely provocative and dangerous act of throwing a wet blanket over the spark of the DPRK-U.S. dialogue on the verge of extinction” and said “our patience is nearing the limitations”. This suggests to convert into “new way” which North Corea has warned since the beginning of this year. This means a war crisis would be rapidly escalating again on the Corean Peninsula.
3. It is clearly the US who has compelled North Corea to do “Denuclearization First” and had broken down the summit in Hanoi and the working-level talks in Stockholm, instead of actively responding to various preemptive and sincere actions by North Corea. The Trump administration should be aware of that our people’s will to struggle against Trump and US imperialism is getting stronger continuously. The Trump administration must make sure of establishing a peace regime with North Corea by switching its policy and withdrawing US troops from South Corea, before it’s too late. Time is definitely not on Trump’s side.
