미제침략세력은 베네수엘라에서 당장 손을 떼라!
베네수엘라파쇼세력들이 우익쿠데타를 시도하고 있다. 7월30일 언론보도에서 베네수엘라 파드리노국방장관은 공개성명을 통해 파시즘·극우파·제국주의가 조작하는 쿠데타를 단호하게 물리칠 것이라고 공언했다. 파드리노는 파시스트의 쿠데타시도에 의해 군인 23명과 경찰 25명이 부상 당했으며 볼리바리안방위군 1명은 목에 총상을 입어 숨졌다고 언급했다. 4일 볼리바리안방위군창설 87주년기념행사에 참가한 마두로대통령도 극우시위에 대해 <파시즘적 성격을 갖고 있으며 증오로 가득한 제국주의쿠데타>라고 규정했다. 한편 최근 쿠데타시도로 인해 체포된 2000여명의 사람들중 80%가 미정부에 의해 텍사스에서 훈련을 받은 사실이 드러났다. 파쇼세력들은 콜롬비아의 마약밀매준군사조직과 페루의 파쇼정부와도 공모했다.
세계가 인정하듯이, 베네수엘라대선은 합법적이고 공정하게 진행됐다. 유엔안보리전의장, 미법학자협회, 여러라틴아메리카국가전직고위관료들이 포함된 국제관찰자그룹은 7월31일 베네수엘라대통령선거에 대한 공동예비보고서를 발표했다. 보고서에 따르면 베네수엘라 선거제도는 투명성과 효율성이 담보됐고 정상적으로 선거가 진행됐으며 모든 민중은 헌법에 따른 투표권행사가 보장됐다. 참관인들은 외부압력에도 불구하고 평화롭고 질서정연하게 투표가 진행된 점을 강조했다. 한편 야당 PUD후보 곤잘레스는 <불법선거>의 증거를 갖고 있다고 떠든 것과는 달리 대법원선거회의에 나타나지 않았다. 반면 재선에 성공한 마두로대통령은 대법원에 출석해 회의록전부를 제출했다. 미국이 <베네수엘라불법선거>를 망발한 것과 달리 8일기준 베네수엘라선거결과를 인정한 국가는 총 49개국이다.
이번에도 쿠데타의 배후는 미제침략세력이다. 미정부는 올해 1월 <마두로정부는 민주인사를 구속하고 야권후보들의 대선출마를 금지하고 있다>며 석유·가스거래에 관한 제재를 부활시켰다. 미국이 말하는 <민주인사>는 PUD소속 마차도다. 마차도는 베네수엘라에 미군을 주둔시키고 우익쿠데타를 일으키기 위해 망동했으며 최근에는 미국에 군사개입을 촉구하다 대선후보자격을 박탈당했다. 4월 베네수엘라당국이 공개한 음성파일에 따르면 마차도는 미당국에게 <완전한 재정적 질식>이 될때까지 베네수엘라에 더 많은 제재를 가할 것을 요구했다. 베네수엘라외무부는 야당이 미·유럽에 900개 넘는 베네수엘라에 대한 일방적 제한조치를 가할 것을 반복적으로 요구하며 국가에 상당한 위해를 가했다고 폭로했다.
미제침략세력은 베네수엘라에 대한 주권침해와 내정간섭을 즉각 중단해야 한다. 미 워싱턴포스트에 따르면 미국의 대베네수엘라제재는 마두로정부에 대한 불신을 유발하고 야당을 선동하기 위해 고안됐으며 미국의 대공황보다 3배나 더 심각한 위기를 초래했다. 마두로대통령이 제재를 <경제적 대량학살>이라고 규정한 이유가 다른데 있지 않다. 미제침략세력이 파쇼세력을 앞세워 쿠데타를 조종하는 것은 베네수엘라내에서 이른바 <색깔혁명>을 일으키기 위한 것이다. 2014년 우크라이나에서 <색깔혁명>의 일환인 유로마이단쿠데타가 발생한 직후 오데사와 돈바스 등지에서 대량학살이 벌어지고 2022년 2월 우크라이나전이 본격화된 사실은 지금 베네수엘라에서 자행되는 쿠데타가 얼마나 반민중적이며 위험한 것인지를 보여준다. 베네수엘라민중의 자결권은 그 누구도 침해해선 안된다. 베네수엘라민중과 세계진보적 인류는 침략과 지배에 몰두하는 미제국주의를 끝장내고 세계 자주와 평화의 새세상을 앞당길 것이다.

The US aggressive forces must immediately take their hands off Venezuela!
The fascist forces in Venezuela are attempting a far-right coup. In a public statement on July 30, Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez declared that they would decisively defeat the coup forged by fascists, extreme right wing activists, and imperialists. He mentioned that 23 military personnel and 25 police officers were wounded, and a National Guard sergeant died in coup attempts by fascists. As attending the 87th anniversary of the Bolivarian National Guard, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro Moros defined the far-right protest as an “imperialist coup d’état, which has fascist characteristics, full of hatred.” Meanwhile, the fact was revealed that 80% of 2,000 people who were arrested by recent coup attempts had been trained in Texas by the US government. The fascist forces also colluded with the drug trafficking Paramilitary group of Colombia and the fascist government of Peru.
As the world recognizes, Venezuela’s presidential election was legal and fair. On July 31, a group of international observers, including the former president of the UN Security Council, the American Association of Jurists, and former high-level officials from several Latin American countries, issued a joint preliminary report on the presidential election in Venezuela. According to the report, Venezuela’s electoral system was transparent and efficient, and the elections were carried out under normal conditions, guaranteeing all citizens the exercise of their constitutional right to vote. The observers emphasized that voting took place in a peaceful and orderly manner despite external pressure. Meanwhile, opposition PUD candidate Edmundo González did not appear in the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice despite claims that he had evidence of “fraudulent elections.” On the other hand, Maduro, who was re-elected, appeared before the Supreme Court and submitted the full minutes. Unlike the US, which babbled about “Venezuela’s illegal elections,” a total of 49 countries have recognized the results of Venezuela’s elections as of the 8th.
This time again, the US aggressive force was behind the coup. In January of this year, the US government reinstated sanctions on oil and gas transactions, saying that “Nicolas Maduro has arrested members of the democratic opposition and barred candidates from competing in this year’s presidential election.” The “democratic opposition” the US refers to is María Corina Machado, who belongs to the PUD. Machado maneuvered to have a US military presence in Venezuela and stage a right-wing coup. She was recently disqualified from the presidential candidate for calling for US military intervention. In an audio file released by Venezuelan authorities in April, Machado demanded that the US impose more sanctions on Venezuela until the “total financial suffocation” of her country. Venezuela’s Foreign Ministry has exposed that the opposition caused significant harm to the country by repeatedly calling on the US and Europe to impose more than 900 unilateral restrictions on Venezuela.
The US aggressive forces must immediately stop violating the sovereignty and interfering in the internal affairs of Venezuela. According to The Washington Post, the US sanctions against Venezuela were designed to arouse the distrust of the Maduro government and instigate the opposition (to overthrow the government) and caused a crisis that was three times more serious than the Great Depression of the US. There is no other reason why President Maduro defined the sanctions as an “Economic Genocide.” The purpose of the US aggressive forces’ manipulation of the coup with the fascist forces at the forefront is to provoke a so-called “Color Revolution” within Venezuela. Right after the Euromaidan coup – part of the “Color Revolution” – in Ukraine in 2014, the genocides had been committed in Odessa, Donbas, and other regions, and the war in Ukraine entered full swing in February, 2022. These facts show how anti-people and dangerous the coup currently being carried out in Venezuela is. No one shall violate the sovereignty of the Venezuelan people. Venezuelan people and the progressive people of the world will end the US imperialism immersed in aggression and domination, and advance the new world of independence and peace.
