라틴아메리카에서 새인터넷진보언론 민족일보의 창간축하메시지를 요청받았다. 코리아민중의 민주주의투쟁의 역사에서 원래 민족일보가 갖는 역사적인 중요성과 의의를 알게된 후 감동받았고 이런 요청을 받게 된 것을 영광으로 생각한다.
오늘날은 자본주의의 구조적 위기에 대한 헛된 대응으로 나오는 투기, 비안정화와 계속적인 전쟁의 제국주의적, 과두적인 의제를 멈추고 각자가 속한 곳에서 인간적인 선택을 하기 위해 세계적 범위에서 사회운동의 협력과 단결이 그 어느 때보다도 필요하다. 그런 믿음 속에서 겸손하고 기쁘게 지구반대편에서 나의 투쟁과 우리 민중들의 이름으로 축하인사를 전한다. 우리는 서로 끊임없이 배워나가는 새 형의 연대가 필요하다.
조용수대표가 피로써 심어낸 꿈을 21세기의 발전된 기술로 이어나가는 것은 하나의 심오한 상징이다. 이 상징은 그가 앞서 보여준 것과 새인류, 새세상을 건설하며 빛과 그림자 속에서 자유실현을 위해 싸웠던 전세계 수백, 수천의 영웅들을 모아내는 약속이다. 이는 또한 혁신과 창조의 새롭고 끊임없는 물결속에서 그리고 ‘규범’에 대한 복종을 깨는 도전과 책임을 나타낸다다. 나도 여러분이 가는 길에 함께 하겠다.

I’ve received the invitation to participate with some words from Latin America celebrating the inauguration of the new digital progressive media, Minzokilbo. After learning the significance and importance of the original Minzok Ilbo in the history of the democratic struggles of the Corean People, I feel at the same time overwhelmed and obliged with such an honor.
Humbly and gladly I reach you with my congratulations for this undertaking in the name of my peoples and my struggles at this side of the planet, convinced that today, more than ever, unity and coordination of the social movements at the global scale are indispensable to stop the imperial-oligarchic agenda of speculation, destabilization and perpetual war as futile response to the capital structural crisis, and to build up a humanist option from each territory and community. A new type of solidarity is required: that of the mutual and constant learning from each other.
The continuation of the dream that Cho Yong-soo sow with his blood with the advanced technologies of the 21st century entails a profound symbolism. It’s the commitment that convenes his example and that of those thousands and thousands of heroes in the Earth that had exercise their freedom in their circumstances, with lights and shades, constructing from within a New Human Being, a New World. It’s also the challenge and the responsibility of assuming it from the fresh and restless waters of innovation and creativity and breaking the submission to the “norm”. I hope I could keep the pace with you on this path.
